Genesis 6:2 “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”
Judges 21:20 “Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;
21 And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.”
In Genesis 6 the sons of God, angels, took wives of the daughters of men–all which they chose. In the last two book of Judges, the chapters surround the Benjamites. The main point here is that after all the prior events of the two chapters, the remaining Benjamites did not have any wives.
The solution was Judges 21:20-21–when the virgin daughters of Shiloh performed their annual dance; the Benjamites would snatch a wife. There were 400 young virgins left over after the punitive destruction of Jabeshgilead. So we have the Benjamites mirroring the sons of God in Genesis 6.
When sons of God came into the daughters of men:
Genesis 6:4 “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
The Benjamites mirroring this action closed out the book of Judges. The next book is the last of judges–Samuel. In the book of Samuel the Israelites cried out for a king:
1 Samuel 10:20 “And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
22 Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.
23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.”
Therefore, if you put it all together, the Benjamites in Judges 21 mirrored the action of the sons of God in Genesis 6–which resulted in giants. In the next book of the Bible a Benjamite, Saul–is chosen as king. Saul was, “…higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward” (1 Sam 10:23 & mentioned earlier in 1 Sam 9:2).
Saul is not labeled as a giant, but he is taller than the rest of the Israelites. When the word of God speaks of giants, people often ignore the girth of the beings. One should picture an excessively tall being proportioned more like a football linebacker rather than a center in basketball.
At the end of the day it was not the tallest of the Israelites who defeated the 9 foot 9 inch tall (6 cubits) Goliath. It was David.
1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”
Acts 13:21 “And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:”
I was absolutely delighted when the Lord opened my eyes to these parallels this morning. I will now relate all this to an uncomfortable subject, but something that is a reality in the West–eugenics.
Ever since the wealthy oligarchs & their education intellectuals rejected the word of God in favour of the theory of evolution the belief that mankind will somehow breed himself into some sort of salvation has become their doctrine. They think they will evolve & transcend mankind by breeding the alleged best of the best (best by measured IQ, physical traits, wealth, fame etc).
Notice with their Climate Change myth, you, O’ regular person should not breed to allegedly save the planet. However, the same wealthy & powerful who attend their global Climate Change conferences continue to breed undiscouraged.
