Is She Worth A Poem? (A poem)

Is she worth a poem?

Either I have enough love or she has enough

hatred, but lukewarm or apathy doesn’t make

for a good recipe, but it looks like it’s too

late so now the only question is “the degree?”

Better yet, I’ll just write it and in the end you

tell me.

It began with me liking the sound of her voice

Intelligent gentleness best describes the thing

that didn’t often ring because she didn’t want

anyone to know her outside of anyone

who already knew her and it wasn’t just me

it was all of society. When I am left

with a mystery, I fill in the history

and it must have been uncomfortable that I

looked at her like I knew her better than anyone

else in the world. And the hurt when she so often

pulled away, and my reaction “Don’t you know me!”

Well, not out loud, that would have confused her even

more, but in my head we were planning on going

to a play sometime next month, after all when you

actually know each other…there’s plans of some sort.

A Pattern Concerning Giants

Genesis 6:2 “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”

Judges 21:20 “Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;

21 And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.”

In Genesis 6 the sons of God, angels, took wives of the daughters of men–all which they chose. In the last two book of Judges, the chapters surround the Benjamites. The main point here is that after all the prior events of the two chapters, the remaining Benjamites did not have any wives.

The solution was Judges 21:20-21–when the virgin daughters of Shiloh performed their annual dance; the Benjamites would snatch a wife. There were 400 young virgins left over after the punitive destruction of Jabeshgilead. So we have the Benjamites mirroring the sons of God in Genesis 6.

When sons of God came into the daughters of men:

Genesis 6:4 “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

The Benjamites mirroring this action closed out the book of Judges. The next book is the last of judges–Samuel. In the book of Samuel the Israelites cried out for a king:

1 Samuel 10:20 “And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.

21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.

22 Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.

23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.”

Therefore, if you put it all together, the Benjamites in Judges 21 mirrored the action of the sons of God in Genesis 6–which resulted in giants. In the next book of the Bible a Benjamite, Saul–is chosen as king. Saul was, “…higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward” (1 Sam 10:23 & mentioned earlier in 1 Sam 9:2).

Saul is not labeled as a giant, but he is taller than the rest of the Israelites. When the word of God speaks of giants, people often ignore the girth of the beings. One should picture an excessively tall being proportioned more like a football linebacker rather than a center in basketball.

At the end of the day it was not the tallest of the Israelites who defeated the 9 foot 9 inch tall (6 cubits) Goliath. It was David.

1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”

Acts 13:21 “And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:”

I was absolutely delighted when the Lord opened my eyes to these parallels this morning. I will now relate all this to an uncomfortable subject, but something that is a reality in the West–eugenics.

Ever since the wealthy oligarchs & their education intellectuals rejected the word of God in favour of the theory of evolution the belief that mankind will somehow breed himself into some sort of salvation has become their doctrine. They think they will evolve & transcend mankind by breeding the alleged best of the best (best by measured IQ, physical traits, wealth, fame etc).

Notice with their Climate Change myth, you, O’ regular person should not breed to allegedly save the planet. However, the same wealthy & powerful who attend their global Climate Change conferences continue to breed undiscouraged.

The Hollywood, Netflix & Media Inversion

I watched the first few episodes of Netflix’s Stranger Things 3; the season had an interesting Invasion of the Body Snatchers theme. Unfortunately, the writers’ must have been unaware of any term (whether dictionary based or slang) to convey shock, surprise or irritation….save for taking the Lord Jesus Christ’s name in vain. Multiple characters took the Lord’s name in vain over & over again; finally, I terminated my viewing of the TV show as a result.

I have heard the same here or there in real life (and I hate it when I hear just the same), but not nearly close to the frequency I hear it on movies, TV shows & Netflix. It is as if they have a goal of incorporating blasphemy into the everyday English language. Perhaps they have an evil hope that if people hear that garbage enough on their TV shows, they will accept it & robotically regurgitate it?

There were zero mainstream articles about Stranger Things 3 ad nauseam use of our Lord’s name in vain; however, there were an abundance of articles condemning the routine smoking of cigarettes on the show. Thus, taking the Lord’s name in vain ad nauseam was acceptable, but the smoking of cigarettes on screen is of grave concern? The situation is not happenstance–it is a purposeful inversion.

Mark 7:15 “There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.”

Serving the Groves…again

2 Chronicles 24:18 “And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.”

When people abandon faith in the word of God, the concept of groves & serving groves routinely occurs.

When a church believes the word of man’s science instead of the word of God–they are left with little to preach about & cannot edify anybody. So they turn to the communist platform (psychology, racism, sexism, LGBT & socialism) in the hopes of fulfilling something.

There is another common denominator within Churches that have abandoned faith in the word of God: serving groves. Yes, instead of preaching about the Word made flesh (John 1:14) the Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ–the same who have abandoned faith often “preach” or have mission statements concerning climate change or sustainable development.

Therefore, they are back to serving groves again. They just repackage their pagan religions as modern science so called.

No Country for Old Men

No Country for Old Men (2007)

This is a more brief explanation (synopsis not included), so I recommend watching the movie or reading the book before indulging:

I was unhappy with all articles & video’s that explained this movie–so I have been dissecting it for the last couple days. Can’t say I was the first to figure out but…

Anton Chigurh murders a sheriffs deputy near the beginning of the movie. This is the transition from the civilized government to the wartime government. Anton uses a bolt stunner to murder one of his victims; during wartime he (the gov’t) treats men just like cattle.

Anton is the government, the selective service & his coin toss represents the draft lottery. Notice that Anton’s life is never at stake in the coin tosses. The coin tosses involve unwilling participants. Also, the movie is set 1980 & the two coin toss scenes are after the fact concerning the wars.

Key points: Sheriff Bell is a WWII vet while Llewellyn Moss & Carson Wells are Vietnam War vets. Sheriff Bell mirrors Anton in a couple scenes. Some theorist claim Bell is actually Anton. Negative: When Bell follows Anton’s footsteps, Bell’s shadow is always prominent in the scenes. Shadows have to do with the angle of light.

This represents that the WWII vet (Bell) viewed Anton (the gov’t, the selective service, the draft) in a different light than the younger Vietnam generation. Bell condones the actions of Anton because he mirrors Anton’s actions in the same places.

The scene with Anton & the old owner of the gas station is an after the fact coin toss (the draft). Like the selective service, Anton acquires information about the man before the coin toss. Notice that Anton learns the man “married into the money” before he tosses the coin (the draft). The old man was already a winner of the draft before the toss. His “good call” was marrying into the money.

In the scene the year of the coin is 1958 (Viet Cong established). Anton says the coin (the draft) travelled 22 years to get to that moment (Cold War 1947, Vietnam draft lottery 1969).

Carson Wells did not get a coin toss before Anton murders him. Wells was an officer in Vietnam & no coin toss represents that he willingly joined the service.

Carla Jean Moss is involved in a coin toss scene at the end of the movie. She was already a de facto loser; her husband (Llewellyn) was drafted for Vietnam. Anton visits her after his mission is complete–he already retrieved the bag of money. The war is over, but Carla Jean is still a victim.

Anton gets in a car accident immediately after. This does not represent meaningless fate like most theories. Anton gives the kids on the bikes $100 to ignore his involvement in the collateral damage & walks away. The money resulting from the war makes the war okay–accept the version of events from Anton (the gov’t). Anton hobbles away from the scene of the accident with a broken arm–the bone is sticking out–exposed. This represents that even if the governments motives for the war are exposed, as an entity, they always get away with their crimes in the end.

Sheriff Bell is increasingly appalled by Anton’s mode of operation as the movie progresses. He thinks his brutal mode is something new, but he learns from his cousin Ellis that Anton’s way was always the case. Bell’s war (WWII) was the result of “drug deals or business deals gone wrong” just like the more modern wars. The more he learns about Anton, the more he learns the truth about his own civilization.

Bell’s dream at the end: He and his father are on horseback riding through the mountains. His Dad rides ahead & he sees his Dad carries a horn with fire in it (transporting embers for the next campfire). He says he knew his Dad would already have a campfire going in the darkness when he finally arrived. It appears Bell is talking about death…negative.

Control over fire represents civilization. Bell believed he was following in his Dad’s footsteps & carrying on the tradition of his civilization. Bell never had faith in God; he had faith in the system. He learned that his Dad’s civilization & his civilization were just a dream & Anton (the gov’t) was always the same. Bell says, “Then I woke up.” The movie ends.

Unsound Eschatology

I will begin the article by defining what may be Christian jargon for some. I do not do so as if I am standing on an intellectual pedestal & I am feeding the lowly masses. Familiarity with terminology is no measure of intelligence. That is why I dislike the slang phrase dumbing down. So one never heard a term before or it is not a routine part of one’s vocabulary–that would be uninformed or unaware, not dumb.

Doctrine–A collection of beliefs that are supposed to be based off the word of God. A doctrine may encompass several supporting scriptures from different books & chapters of the Bible. Sometimes the label for the doctrine is based off an older language; also the label is used for brevity.  Thus, one may not find the verbatim label for the doctrine in scriptures. For instance the rapture is used instead of the, “…caught up” (1 Thess 4:17). That label is derived from an older language. Another example for brevity is the harrowing of hell. Not all doctrine universally agreed upon via interpretation, but the label is an abbreviated way to highlight a subject for those who already have familiarity.

Eschatology–The doctrine of last things. To say end times is a reference to the same study.

Unsound Eschatology–Unsound doctrine of last things. An unreliable collection of beliefs concerning the end times because the collection of beliefs do not align with the Bible. Doctrine is not unsound or unreliable on the basis that it does not align with human reason or logic. The bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is not logical or rational IAW with human reason. That is why I am not a fan of rational faith. The term itself entails cognitive dissonance.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is not going to meet a human endorsed rational or logical cause & effect formula. Some will accuse us of blind faith–which the phrase itself is like saying round circle: “the evidence of things not seen.” Blind faith? Guilty–so what? Not only is my faith irrational–it is exciting. On the topic of logic & reason, many versions of Christian doctrines have been warped via the influence of Plato or Aristotle. The two men wrote some interesting things, but an attempt to glean anything from the Holy Bible on the basis of their writings is error. Christians should be on guard when scholars or theologians routinely toss the terms rationality, logic or reason into the mix.

John 20:29 “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

The existence of giants is not rational by our modern measure, yet God not only speaks of giants, but He also tells how big a certain giant’s bedstead was & that his bedstead was in a particular place at a particular time:

Deuteronomy 3:11 “For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.”

The dimensions of the bedstead are in the area of 13 feet long & 6 feet wide. The inference was not that Og owned a huge bed, but Og required a huge bed with strong support (iron). If the inference was luxury–we would have been told about Og’s gold or many possessions. All that being said, the size of Og does not align with modern human rationality. This might shake up some folks, but the giants existed–sound doctrine (Ecc 1:9; Gen 6:4; Dan 2:43). It is unsupported by modern human reason, but supported by the scripture.

All that wraps back around to eschatology. The manner of eschatology is molded by whether one has faith in the word of God or human reason or rationality:

2 Peter 3:3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

(Compare to Exodus 32:1)

What people believe about the last things, whether they happen 10 minutes or 10 centuries from now–affects our modus operandi here & now. Generally speaking, there are two vastly different versions of eschatology being promoted within Christian institutions. I am not speaking of disagreements like whether the rapture occurs before, during or after the great tribulation. The two general doctrines are night & day.

I speak of one eschatology that involves patience (Rev 13:10) & another that leads to the belief that men will build the kingdom of heaven on earth (tower of Babel–part 2). One mode promotes the word of God & the other mode promotes oppressed & oppressor philosophy. Both camps utilize the Bible, but one in a greater capacity & one in a lesser capacity.

I am going to discuss a severe case of unsound eschatology connected to terrible things from the other camp. Note that the entire other camp may not be near as extreme, but their doctrine is akin to this example:

Notorious communist cult leader Jim Jones once slammed a King James Bible on the floor & exclaimed to his congregation, “My grand-daddy believed this Bible–and he was racist!” Although Jones quoted scripture from time to time; this action displayed the treasure of his heart (Luke 6:45). He obsessively spoke on the likes of diversity, racism & sexism.

Eventually the entire cult packed up, went off to a jungle & through precepts such as equality–they planned on building the kingdom of heaven on earth. As is the routine with communism; the end of the matter was mass murder.  Some call it mass suicide, but it was mass suicide at gun point.

I must note this is not about a Church ever addressing items like racism, but rather a question: can there ever be a Sunday or two absent of the mention of diversity, racism, sexism or equality? Can scripture such as Hebrews 1 be about Who it is about or must it somehow be related to that agenda?

Based on frequency, is the focus the Lord Jesus Christ, His return & resurrection (1 Cor 15:12-14) or is it a steady stream of oppressed & oppressor rhetoric which promotes insurrection (Barabbas–Mark 15:7) against the perceived status quo?

The night camp’s eschatology leaves no room for Biblically sound eschatology. Through democracy, diversity, equality, no-borders, socialism–it promotes that men will build the kingdom of heaven on earth, the communist utopia. Where does the world worshipping the beast, the mark of the beast, the return of Christ or the battle of armageddon fit in?

In order to propagate the night camp’s version of events–unsound things are promoted across the board. A classic example is the claim that in the Book of Revelation, the emperor of Rome at the time was the beast. Negative:

Revelation 17:8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”

So, “was, and is not; and shall ascend” does not fit the narrative of what would have been at the time the scripture was penned–a current emperor of Rome. Another question along the lines of the night camp’s narrative–when was the mark of the beast? When did people have to get the name, mark or number of a Roman Emperor in their right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell (Rev 13:16-17)?

Thus, the night camp’s claim is that the Apostle John wrote in the apocalyptic style of the day to reflect what was going on the world around him. Take note: there is not a thing about it being the word of God in such a statement. That is a common marker to watch out for with the night camp. They ascribe too much agency to the human pens–inspired like poets instead of God giving them words & visions to write down:

2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

“All scripture is given..” is often confused with “inspiration is given.” The inspiration of God was the vehicle (“by”) for all scripture that is given. The men did not take artistic liberties as if John the Apostle thought, “I think I will write this piece in the popular apocalyptic style of today.”  In fact the night camp’s claim alludes that the Apostle John was not shown a vision by God.

This article could become book length. I will wind it down by stating that the night camp’s eschatology is like, “As a community, we are going to build the best city that we can.” There is not anything wrong with building a nice city, but the problem is–that is the end of their religion; to build the best city that they can (Gen 11). It is also a pragmatic religion. They want to see things now, they want to make things happen now. Everything is of a temporal nature. Constant oppressed & oppressor rhetoric imparts bitterness. Frankly, all Americans are force fed enough the same rhetoric from the media, the education system, the entertainment industry…the world.

The day camp’s eschatology is patiently enduring the downward spiral of the world. This is not to state that justice should be ignored where it is in our power to do something. The day camp does not lie–lot’s of bad things are going to happen. At some point the world will break it’s cycle of up’s & down’s and only head down, down, down. Bible believing Christians are going to have zero desire to even breath in that world, but they must endure & have faith that everything will end up how the Bible says it will end up. A rational faith will not do because nearly everything around will be heading the opposite direction of the faith. Rationally, pragmatically, the faith will appear not to be working in the world at the time (Rev 13:7). Most importantly, it must be a faith that resides in the heart:

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

The Global Religion Preached by Corporations

Genesis 3:6 “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

1 Timothy 2:14 “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

“But man seeks to worship what is established beyond dispute, so that all men would agree at once to worship it. For these pitiful creatures are concerned not only to find something that all would believe in and worship; what is essential is that all may be together in it. This craving for community of worship is the chief misery of every man individually and of all humanity from the beginning of time.”

–The Brothers Karamzov (The Grand Inquisitor) by Fydor Dostoyevksy

“It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error. It is better to speak the truth that hurts and then heals, than falsehood that comforts and then kills.”

–Pastor Adrian Rogers

One the greatest cheerleaders for universal religion is global corporations. This fact is proved by the universalists most important religious ceremony–the Super Bowl or Super Ba’al as I call it. Many of the commercials during Super Ba’al are not even advertisements for their products; instead, they preach a hollow religion & mention their company or product in passing.

The corporate sponsored Super Ba’al half time shows culminate with crowd produced ambiguous messages such as believe in love or one love. The messages are meaningless in themselves. People can love money (1 Tim 6:10) or love darkness (John 3:19). Nothing about the global corporate religious messages indicate, “Oh–don’t believe in that love.” Also, one love is about as superficial as a message could be. What or who is the object of that one love?

The corporation driven religion is all about togetherness. Yes, the globalists grand religion is lead by the likes of Disney, Nike, Coca Cola, Gillette… Togetherness is not love. A crime syndicate could not only have togetherness, but all involved could have the same goal. Is that love? No. In order to have that false kinship, togetherness, their universal religion must be a general & empty thing– as broad & as wide as possible.

Matthew 7:3 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Thoughts on “V” (The Original Series)

For the purposes of the article, V The Original Series (V-OS) includes V The Final Battle (V-TFB). The two were not a separate series even though they are sold separately–there are no drastic changes in characters or the plot between them.

was biggest television event of my childhood. This week I watched V-OS & V-TFB for the first time since they originally aired & I still loved them. Surprisingly, most of the special effects held up pretty well; they were not fantastic by today’s standards, but they did not ruin the movie. I only laughed about the effects once; that was when the lizard baby popped its head out of the human mother’s stomach.

VOS was two, about 2-hour episodes. VTFB was three, about 2-hour episodes. The series starts strong & continues strong for the first two episodes of V-TFB. However, any viewer can tell that something happened in the course of V-TFB–something changed. The source of the change was the mid-production V-TFB departure of the V-OS director Kenneth Johnson. My perception was that without Johnson, the people who took the reigns hurried the series to a conclusion.

An abbreviated synopsis of the series: Aliens (called Visitors) show up–50 motherships hover over major cities around the world. Our fighter jets cannot approach them & their missiles are simply lead astray when the motherships are fired upon. The Visitors make contact, they look just like humans & their supreme commander (who calls himself John because their alien names are too hard to pronounce) addresses the world from the top of the UN building in New York. They have come in peace & even invite a few lucky journalists aboard a mothership. While aboard the mothership, a journalist named Mike Donavon discovers the Visitors are reptilians in disguise. On a different covert trip to a mothership, Mike discovers that the Visitors are going to suck the Earth dry; they want our water & store humans for food. Some humans will be used as janissaries for the Visitor’s war against another alien race.

The Visitors gradually turn to totalitarian rule of humans (with the help of the human establishment)–first they gain control of all media. A human female is impregnated by a Visitor before she was aware they were reptilians. She has twins (kind of)–one human baby with a forked lizard tongue & a full lizard baby. The full lizard baby only lives a few days. The human resistance discovers that the lizard baby was killed by a new form of bacteria which is not harmful to humans. The humans harvest the bacteria & spread it by hot air balloons throughout the atmosphere. Soon the whole planet will be poison to the Visitors & they leave. BTW, if the Visitors destroy the hot air balloons, the bacteria spreads anyway from the explosion. There are a few other elements to the series that I will cover later in the article.

The beginning of the show is fantastic. The arrival of the Visitors is presented more like a news documentary & several of our main characters are in front of their television sets as it plays out. John has a second in command named Diana. She is a scientist & amongst other things is in charge of Visitor psyops. Due to the growing resistance, she slips from second-in-command because the priority becomes security & that is not her expertise.

Diana

Diana new

Diana was a very strong character & was critical to the show’s success. As the series progresses, we find out the alien leadership is just as (if not more) petty & treacherous than humans despite being more technological advanced. She was a great casting choice as a reptilian from the start due to her striking real human beauty.  If the viewer suspends his disbelief; her beauty is a conflict–she is hot, but actually a reptile. Diana appoints a human news reporter named Kristine to be the Visitor’s media mouthpiece. Diana is sensual towards Kristine as in touchy-feely–it is an inference. Diana makes the most of her false human beauty & can manipulate both men & women. When the resistance wreaks more havoc, the Visitors send a security commander & the power-hungry Diana is relegated back to a science-only role. Enter Pamela:

Pamela

Pamela

Pamela is outwardly sexy Visitor security commander & has a British (maybe Aussie) accent. The tension between Pamela & Diana is resolved too quickly (Diana shoots her). Another two hour episode would have produced what should have been a further expanding tension. Although I love that aspect of the series, that was also where it went awry. At this point in the series, the human story lines were neglected or hurried in favour of the Visitor’s internal conflicts.

The Visitors essentially enacted the United Nations globalization plan we know today. Instead of Co-exist posters, they promote ‘Friendship is Universal’ propaganda. There are a plethora of human race traitors & they comprise a majority of the establishment. This is just like people who betray their own country, kinsman & culture for the no-borders agenda.

The Kenneth Johnson direction of the series, from my estimation, uses the Visitors as an allegory for the UN. The series initially had a darker tone & the primary focus was on the compromised media & the Visitor’s (The UN’s) use of propaganda. For instance, in the first episode of V-TBF the resistance infiltrates a Visitor-media event & they tear off John’s fake human face on national TV.

john hostage

The Visitors immediately attempt to have their human mouthpiece Kristine announce that the whole thing was fraud/conspiracy conducted by terrorists. She does not go along with it & is dispatched with. John’s human disguise is repaired & the Visitor’s traitor human media (at gunpoint) reshoots his speech along with the claim that it was the original footage. That is the last of the propaganda angle in the series. The Visitor’s went through the trouble of reshooting the sequence; therefore, the angle should not have been abandoned. In the above screenshot, we see the co-star of the series–Juliet:

Juliet

juliet conversion

Juliet (pictured in the background per a reflection) was captured and suffered through Diana’s conversion therapy. The Visitors brainwash human resistors. Juliet was the leader of the resistance & Mike Donavon’s girlfriend. After she was rescued, once again an angle that should have produced more tension & conflict was resolved too quickly. Mike Donavon instantly declared that she was okay. The only struggle indicated was that she was right handed, but after the therapy she wanted to use her left hand.

At the end of V-TBF, the resistance along with the Fifth Column (aliens who betrayed the aliens) take over the Los Angeles mothership control room. Diana used telepathy acquired via the conversion therapy to command Juliet to freeze, which allowed Diana to escape the control room. Juliet could have had a greater psychotic struggle throughout. Diana could have used the telepathy earlier, Juliet could have flat out betrayed the resistance at one point & became a uniformed lackey of Diana for a period of time. Instead of developing that angle, the depth & focus was directed only at the Visitor’s internal struggles.

There are several other great angles to the series; Donavon’s mother is high ranking human race traitor, there is another human race traitor that mirrors the Hitler youth, there is a misguided Catholic priest & the aforementioned gal with the alien babies. The series is still well-worth watching, but this is my primary warning:

The exposition & rising action, to include several rib plots, are fantastic. Unfortunately, the falling action & resolution are like a sudden stock market crash. Kenneth Johnson leaving mid-production of V-TFB probably caused a few rib plots to be introduced too late in the hour in respect to the spine plot. The change of directors disrupted the continuity of the series. The spine plot & a few earlier rib plots had reached their climax when a few more interesting rib plots were introduced that could have been expanded upon. The fresh rib-plots were prematurely terminated as a result of the spine plot’s progress.

Despite the early decapitation of some rising action involving fresher rib-plots, there was only one truly disappointing element in the series. The lizard-tongue human baby grew at an exponential rate & was brought into the custody of Diana via the Catholic Priest. By delivering the hybrid child, the priest was hoping to convince her that eating humans was cannibalism (another quickly terminated angle). The hybrid-baby was used as a cop-out for part of the resolution. What the hybrid-baby did to save the day introduced a completely different tone than that of the rest of the series. It was as if a completely different movie invaded V for that sequence. Perhaps the UN forced the network in that direction–who else could have thought the scene was a good idea?

So V changing directors mid-stream was a mistake. So V was hurried to a conclusion despite its huge popularity; another mistake. Even so, these items are not so much as drawbacks as they are a testament to how great the series was & further more, what it could have been.

Modern “Peace” and “Toxicity.”

I have noted a trend that when many say “peace,” they mean, “avoid or flee.” Often they must flee “toxic” or “negative” people to preserve their convenience. The first problem with that method is the person automatically assumes only everybody else can be “toxic” or “negative.” So the individual is allegedly in a perfect state of peace, unless someone disrupts their fantasy existence in any way. This modern peace is complete selfishness.

The purveyors of the toxic people theories apparently cannot discern the difference between positive & negative versus good & evil. They are mutually exclusive concepts. To ask someone not use opoids is a negative request, but good. You will notice that the toxic investigators are inconsistent. It is all right to be negative when it concerns something they do not agree with; however, any negative proposition towards something they find agreeable–that is when the other person is allegedly being negative or toxic.

Thus, the sum total of that faux version of peace equals: the successful elimination of anything or anyone contrary to one’s personal agenda. If the other person accrues enough bad checkmarks on their toxic checklists–elimination. Strikingly, consider the fact that if one refers to a toxic people checklist to determine who should or should not be in their lives–that is a demand that everyone must obey their standard or else. Is not manipulation suppose to be a toxic behaviour?

One of the most wicked things about the toxic people theory is that truth is meaningless to these people. The truth can be positive or negative, but they only want what they consider the positive truths in their vicinity. Anything negative, even if it is the truth, must not be allowed to abide in their own personal Garden of Eden.

I am sure all of our social media news feeds are full of empty memes that speak of avoiding negativity, avoiding drama, rising above, endless memes about how to achieve love & peace. The exhaustive mentions of such subjects can be a display that the person is compensating for the lack of it in their own hearts.

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Peace will not result from anything the world has to offer–that includes modern psychology. So following the latest checklist from the latest trendy journal is not going to work. For that peace in our hearts, we need to abide in the true vine (John 15:1)–the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”

Peace is a fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22). It is either produced by that or it is not produced in the heart at all; regardless of any fluffy language that proceeds from a person’s mouth. Also it cannot be broken down nor understood by psychologists.

Philippians 4:27 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Moving on to peace with others. It is not a bad thing to regularly avoid confrontation, but fleeing all confrontations will not lead to peace. Sometimes confrontations produce good results. Perhaps there were unknown extenuating circumstances in a conflict with another? After that revelation, two people might have peace with each other, but they would never have peace by avoiding that confrontation. They would never know the truth of the matter; they would never know the other person did _________ because of ________.

So because the toxic investigators are not interested in truth, they are not interested peace. Only subjective truth can preserve their selfish bubbles. Their self-absorbed, no-drama behaviour often prevents true peace.

Being judgmental is also toxic behaviour–yet you are supposed to refer to a checklist created by a psychologist to judge if other people are worthy of your presence?  Toxic people checklists could serve a better purpose by judging whether one is a human being or a cyborg. No bad checkmarks = robot.

No one is going to find peace by demanding that everyone else in their life must walk on eggshells around them. Trying to control others with arbitrary checklist will not fix one’s own bitter heart. These insane checklists will not only drive toxic people out of their life, they will eventually drive everyone out of their life. There is something known as forgiveness.
